Stay safe until help gets there
Stay clear of a door that’s crooked or hanging, and don’t pull on the cables or springs. Keep kids and pets out of the garage. Don’t keep hitting the opener button on a door that isn’t moving right. That can pull it further off track or drop it.
Can’t close the door?
A door stuck open means the house isn’t secure. Usually it’s a broken spring, a snapped cable, or a door that came off track. The tech gets the door down and secured, then fixes what broke.
Car stuck inside?
If the opener won’t lift the door, don’t force it by hand with a broken spring. The door can be very heavy and fall. Call and we’ll get someone headed your way.
After a storm
High wind can bend panels, knock the door off track, or push it in. If the door got hit in a storm, don’t run it until someone looks at it.
